Egg Tempera on Panel, 12 x 8 inches.

I imagine myself looking over the east gable of the barn in front our house. There is a marshy area to the south of the barn. West of the barn is the peach orchard. In the distance the peak to the left is called the Pinnacle and to its right is Hawk Mountain Sanctuary. Both are part of Blue Mountain.

Old Philly Pike runs on the north side of the barn. The original road built in 1752 ran along the high ground on the south side of the marsh.
